USCPR Action Endorsements

The US Campaign for Palestinian Rights Action, a 501(c)(4) organization that represents a diverse movement of Palestinians and their allies who advocate for Palestinian rights and a transformation of US policy on Palestine, is proud to announce our first round of endorsed candidates for 2026.¹

From the start

USCPR Action has been committed to the vision of ending U.S. military support to Israel and supporting Palestinian liberation. It has been the decades of support from American politicians who continue to transfer weapons and military funding to Israel that set the foundation for the genocide across Gaza and the continued settler violence we have witnessed in the West Bank. But the tide is changing as recent polls show that the American people are tired of funding Israel's endless killing and destruction at the expense of humanity.

As a national organization led by Palestinians, it is our duty and responsibility to ensure that the horrors of the genocide are not forgotten, and that new political leadership that believes in Palestinian autonomy and liberation is ushered in.

These candidates have made a few clear and unequivocal commitments that are aligned with USCPR Action’s values:

  1. block U.S. weapons transfers and military funding to Israel

  2. defend and advance the Palestinian movement under an increasingly repressive administration by supporting the BDS movement, and

  3. refuse to take any money from AIPAC

We stand firmly behind their vision, their courage, and their commitment to action.

HERE ARE THE USCPR ACTION 2026 ENDORSEMENT CANDIDATES:

FEDERAL CANDIDATES

Cori Bush (MO-01)

“I am honored to earn the endorsement of USCPR Action, an organization that does essential work to both advocate for the freedom of the Palestinian people and provide support for the Palestine solidarity movement,” said Congresswoman Cori Bush. “I’m committed to continuing to speak up for the rights and freedoms of the Palestinian community both at home and abroad. I’m proud to be running to go back to Congress to continue my work to stop U.S. arms transfers to Israel’s government and stand up for our 1st Amendment rights to organize to stop the genocide. This political moment calls for leadership that is unafraid to confront the reality of our nation’s foreign policy and take the necessary steps to end U.S. complicity in war crimes, apartheid, and genocide.”

Rashida Tlaib (MI-12)

Delia Ramirez (IL-04)

“From Chicago to Palestine, we must be clear that our peace, safety, and well being are interconnected. Right now, our communities are confronting unaccountable leaders trying to advance their imperialistic agendas. They want our resources, our lands, our freedoms, and our lives. But I am clear that we can choose a path that honors our shared humanity and safety. That’s why I'm honored to receive the endorsement of USCPR Action, an organization that shares my commitment to fighting for collective liberation. Together, we are shifting the political landscape as we continue our fight to Block the Bombs, protect our communities and democracy, and end the genocide in Palestine."

Claire Valdez (NY-07)

"Working people in Brooklyn and Queens have more in common with working people in Palestine than we do with the billionaires and defense contractors who profit from their suffering. I'm proud to earn USCPR Action's endorsement because the fight for Palestinian liberation is inseparable from the fight for dignity and justice here at home. In Congress, I will vote to end military funding to Israel, cosponsor Block the Bombs, and fight every day for a free Palestine."

Darializa Chevalier (NY-13)

“It is an honor to receive USCPR Action’s endorsement as we continue the fight for the freedom for the Palestinian people. USCPR and I share a belief that a free Palestine is an integral part of achieving our collective liberation. I look forward to working together to build solitary, change public opinion, and advance a rights-based and justice-oriented framework from the U.S. to Palestine.”

Donavan McKinney (MI-13)

"I am grateful to have the endorsement of USCPR Action. For too long, our tax dollars have funded forever wars and genocide instead of housing and healthcare for us at home. I am proud to be aligned with USCPR Action and look forward to working together towards ending oppression overseas and at home."

Saikat Chakrabarti (CA-11)

“I’m proud to have the support of USCPR Action and to stand with a movement advancing freedom and justice for the Palestinian people. We must end U.S. complicity in the genocide in Gaza and Israeli apartheid and the occupation of Palestinian lands. I’m committed to fighting for policies that are anti-war, protect human rights, and invest in our communities.”

Adam Hamawy (NJ-12)

“It is incredibly meaningful to receive the endorsement of USPCR Action. I’ve been to war— and what I witnessed with my own eyes in Gaza was not war, it was genocide. When I returned to the US, I knew I had an obligation to go to Washington and advocate. It was organizations like USPCR Action that helped facilitate my advocacy.

In Congress, I will fight for a US foreign policy that centers human rights, including full arms embargoes on states like Israel, which are committing genocide. I will stand against discrimination and bigotry at home, and work for a people-first agenda that puts the working-class first, not the billionaires and corrupt special interests.”

Chris Rabb (PA-03)

LOCAL CANDIDATES

Aber Kawas (NY-02), State Senate

"I’m honored to receive the endorsement of USCPR Action, who I’ve organized with for years and whose fearless advocacy and activism has helped build the Palestine solidarity movement in the US to be the powerful force for change it is today. As a Palestinian-American whose work has always been rooted in justice and liberation, I’ll never stop fighting for our freedom; as a State Senator, I will do everything in my power to end New York State’s financial and political support for Israeli genocide and war crimes."

Abbas Alawieh (MI-02), State Senate
