First interactive Congress scorecard on Palestine updated for 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WASHINGTON, DC, April 9, 2026—The first interactive Congress Scorecard on Palestinian rights, developed by advocacy organization USCPR Action, has been updated to reflect legislative activity for the 119th Congress. This update comes ahead of next week’s historic expected Senate vote on joint resolutions of disapproval to block Trump’s next shipment of $660 million in bombs to Israel, during a midterm election year, while just yesterday Israel killed over 250 people in a brutal wave of bombing in Lebanon.

USCPR Action’s Congress Scorecard ranks members of Congress in the Democratic Caucus based on their legislative records. With this educational and advocacy resource, constituents can easily look up where their elected officials stand on Palestinian human rights and U.S. military funding to Israel.

“The U.S.-Israeli war on Iran and the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people are shaping up to be major voting issues in this 2026 midterm election year,” said Iman Abid, USCPR Action’s new Political Director. “Gone are the days when members of Congress could take AIPAC money and sign off on shipping weapons to Israel unquestioned. Their constituents are paying attention. With the latest information in our Congress Scorecard, constituents can advocate with their representatives and make informed decisions at the polls.”

The Congress Scorecard highlights the following for each Democratic member of Congress:

  • A 119th Congressional Score and Lifetime Grade calculated based on their record;

  • Whether they support an arms embargo to stop sending deadly U.S. weapons to the Israeli military as it commits genocide and war crimes;

  • How they’ve voted and which congressional letters they’ve signed on to for all issues pertaining to Palestinian rights;

  • The total anti-Palestinian dollars they’ve taken from AIPAC and other pro-Israel lobby groups during the 2024 election cycle.

As Trump ships bombs to Israel and makes violent threats to destroy Iranian civilization, recent polling shows the American public largely rejects the use of their tax dollars to fund genocide and war. About 59% of Americans oppose the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran, and 60% of American voters oppose arming Israel.

“As long as weapons keep flowing, Israel will keep escalating violent attacks across the region,” said Ahmad Abuznaid, Executive Director of USCPR Action. “Our tax dollars should fund care, not killing. Prices are rising, American families are going hungry, and meanwhile Trump has been dumping billions of our tax dollars into deadly weapons and a dangerous war on Iran. Enough. We’ll be watching how every senator votes on the joint resolutions of disapproval next week.”
