WASHINGTON, DC, NOVEMBER 4, 2026—The pro-Palestine victories in the 2026 midterm elections prove that Palestine matters to American voters. The 120th Congress will see an even larger contingent of members who support an arms embargo to block all weapons shipments and military funding to Israel.
USCPR Action is proud to have endorsed many of these candidates in our first slate of bold progressive leaders, including Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed. Eleven of our endorsed candidates won their races and will take office from the local to the national level.
“We’ve elected the most pro-Palestine representatives in Congress ever,” said Iman Abid, Political Director of USCPR Action. “Our demands are finally within reach. Justice for Palestinian people who are still living through genocide, under assault from bombs manufactured in the U.S., is extremely overdue. Let’s pass the Block the Bombs Act ASAP in the 120th Congress.”
83 U.S. House representatives now support the Block the Bombs Act to block major weapons shipments to the Israeli military. The number of cosponsors behind the bill has nearly quadrupled since Rep. Delia Ramirez introduced it with 22 cosponsors last year.
U.S. Michigan Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed said: “I plan to use my voice in the US Senate to stand up for Michigan values and insist our tax dollars are spent here and not used to perpetuate genocide in our name.”
